If you are planning to wear your necklace EVERYWHERE and ANY TIME, so you should opt for the waxed cotton cord option. If your leather has contact with water, it will break easily.

What type of cord does Tequila Sunrise use?

Waxed cotton cord:

You will have 3 different colors to choose from brown, black, and tan.It is a 2mm strong and thick vegan cotton cord that has been waxed.The waxed texture will go away with usage, with time it will fall off and that sensation won’t be there anymore.Waxed cotton cord is WATER FRIENDLY. If you want to wear your necklace even when sweating, this must be your option. The cord can have contact with water, but you need to be aware of the metals on the pendant. Keeping the necklace in a dry place, will make it last longer.
